Catherine Spence – Artistic Director

Catherine Spence has been involved in theatre professionally for many years. As the Artistic Director of Sea Glass Theatre, she brings to the company international experience from Regent’s University London, Canadian Improv Games competitive experience, as well as playwriting and directing experience from her work in Toronto. Her work focuses on the element of story as a tool of empowerment to foster community connections and understanding through mutual inspiration.

Abigail deNiverville – Musical Director

Abigail de Niverville is a Moncton-born composer and author living in Toronto. She is a graduate from the Master’s of Music Composition at the University of Toronto and studied with Alexander Rapoport. de Niverville’s works are inspired by her past experiences performing musical theatre, and seek to find a balance between tonal harmonies and dissonant sounds. She recently provided music for the short film Boy in the Garden, which won Best Experimental Short at the 2018 Silver Wave Film Festival. Her debut novel I Knew Him will be released by NineStar Press in Spring 2019.
